The Teclast A10S is not the only tablet that the low-cost manufacturer has on the way: for those who prefer compact tablets to 10-inch, the Teclast P80 Pro will arrive this month to join the list of alternatives to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3, especially aimed at those who are mainly looking for a more affordable option.
If the Teclast A10S was an improved version of the Teclast P10, this new Teclast P80 Pro seems to be one of the Teclast P80H, of which we have already spoken to you on other occasions (we have found it more than once, for example, between the most sold tablets in the main importers ). It must be said, however, that this new one is a more significant evolution and the difference in technical specifications is quite remarkable.
This is already seen on the screen, which is still 8 inches but which is already jumping to full HD resolution ( 1920 x 1200 ), which leaves it behind a bit but not much of the My Pad 3 and the other tablets that follow the iPad mini in this sense and that usually arrive with 2048 x 1536 pixels . With regard to the multimedia section is not bad at all endowed in what it does to the cameras, with 8 MP for the main and 5 MP for the front.
Where you are going to notice more the difference with other tablets of higher level is probably in the performance section, as it comes with a Mediatek MT8163 processor and with “only” 2GB of RAM (the Mi Pad 3 and other tablets of their range they leave us already 4 GB). In terms of operating system, we will have Android Nougat here and, as regards storage capacity, it seems that there will be models of 16GB and 32GB.
Unfortunately, the data that most interests us always in these cases, which is the price, we still lack. The previous Teclast P80H is sold well below 100 euros, but we must bear in mind that this new model is much higher and we can expect a considerable price increase. On the other hand, having now the Teclast T8 for sale for 200 euros, it would not make sense for this other tablet to go up to 150 euros.
We will not have to wait long to get rid of doubts if the new Teclast P80 Pro fits what you are looking for and you are willing to wait a bit, because what we do know is that it will begin to reach importers in the middle of the month, and we assume that we will not have problems then to put a price on it.
We have already said that the Teclast T8 is a more powerful option, but this Teclast P80 Pro can be interesting for those who do not have too many demands and at least it comes with Mediatek processor and Android Nougat 7.0. 2 GB of RAM are not bad for a mid-range tablet either. If you do not have it completely clear, in any case, we have a recent compilation with the best Chinese tablets with Android to which you can take a look.
