The new Flagship phone Ulefone T3 will make its debut at this year’s MWC 2019 fair, which officially starts on 25 February. This is a very important guest of this event, as it will be equipped with the latest SoC system from MediaTek, a screen with a hole for a camera, as well as a set of three cameras, one of which has 48MP. It seems that this year, Chinese mobile phone manufacturers are scrambling to launch 48.0MP pixel smartphones, such as UMIDIGI S3 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.
Ulefone is going to take a few new smartphones to Barcelona. Although the most interesting seems to be the Ulefone T3 with its In-Display camera and 48MP camera, the Ulefone Power 6 with its huge battery and design referring to the Mate 20 Pro from huawei, is also worth your attention. For less demanding customers, the Chinese company has developed the rugged Armor X3 phone.
Ulefone T3 will be the flagship smartphone in the company’s offer, which is confirmed by the applied components and technologies.
MediaTek helio P90 produced in a 12 nm lithographic process is to be responsible for the computing power. This is a strong proposition for mid-shelf devices using an 8-core processor – two ARM Cortex-A75 cores with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and six energy-saving ARM Cortex-A55 cores operating at frequencies up to 2.0 GHz.
Graphic performance is the responsibility of IMG PowerVR GM9446, which is characterized by clock levels up to 970 MHz. It will receive support from 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. Of course, SoC offers support for Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
The customer will then receive a phone that outperforms its competitors with Snapdragon 710 in terms of synthetic performance.
On the front, the first violin is played by a 6.3-inch display with FHD+ resolution (1080 × 2340 pixels). Inside the hole there is a 26MP camera with Face Unlock support. The graphics clearly show that the ratio of the screen to the front panel surface will not be spectacularly high, because the chin and side frames are definitely not the slimmest. Despite this, the Ulefone T3 looks good.
The phone will be equipped with a 48-megapixel sensor (probably Samsung ISOCELL Bright GMI), which is the main camera in this model. In addition, there is an additional 16MP camera, which will be responsible for achieving shallow depth of field effects. There will also be a third sensor – ToF (Time-of-Flight) camera.
Energie is to supply a 4200 mAh battery with 15W wireless charging support. The specification also includes NFC and Android 9 Pie.
