The Elephone A6 Pro wants to compete against the UmiDigi S3 Pro with similar specifications and a slightly different design. With the Helio P70 processor, the device ranks in the middle class, but also scratches the upper class.
Elephone PR has sent some information about the new Elephone A6 and A6 mini to our Priceboon. So far we only know a few things for sure, But I got the A6 series from their official website and there will be a higher-end version, which is A6 Pro. Its biggest feature is the trend-setting design, with a 6.4-inch perforated screen and the latest processor from MediaTek.
The Elephone A6 Pro will definitely be equipped with the new Mediatek Helio P70. I’m currently testing the Blackview BV9700 Pro with the same processor and I’m positively surprised by the performance. With a good adaptation to the software it should be no problem to turn the Elephone A6 Pro into a fast mobile phone.
We also already know that the A6 Pro will be using a triple camera on the back, we hope that at least two of the three sensors are real, because otherwise it would be kind of embarrassing. A fake triple camera that only uses one sensor hasn’t yet come to our attention.
In addition to the three main cameras, there is also a front camera that is integrated into the display with a so-called Perforated Screen. This is an extremely narrow notch, as we also know it from the Honor nova 4. The ear cup of the A6 Pro probably sits above the display within the thin edge.
Also known is that the back will be available in a gradient color. This means that the colors will look different and reflect strongly depending on the incidence of light. We don’t know anything about other colors yet.
The Elephone A6 Pro could be a very nice mid-range expansion, competing against devices like the Cubot Max 2 or the Leagoo S11. On Feb 28th, we’ll know for sure with which specs the A6 Pro will enter the race.
